Boil Advisory has been resheduled for to a later date, A contractor will be connecting the water main on Byers Road to the new water main along HWY 22 weather permitting. The water will be turned off at 9AM and remain off for a minimum of (4) hours. Out of abundance of caution and in accordance with the Louisiana Department of Heath regulation, a precautionary boil advisory is in place.
This BOIL ADVISORY is to remain in effect until rescinded by Tangipahoa Water District. It is recommended that all customers disinfect their water before consuming it (including fountain drinks), making ice, brushing teeth, or using for food preparation or rinsing of food by the following means:
Boil water for (1) full minute in a clean container. The one-minute starts after the water has been brought to a rolling boil. (The flat taste can be eliminated by shaking the water in a clean bottle, pouring it from one clean container to another, or by adding a small pinch of salt to each quart of water that is boiled.)
Tangipahoa Water District will rescind the Boil Advisory upon notification from the Louisiana Department of Health – Office of Public Health that additional water samples collected from our water supply system has shown our water to be safe.

The Limited Boil advisory has been Rescinded in Natalbany for Firestation Road, Davidge Road, Shelley Road, Parent Road and Parsonage Road in Natalbany. This includes Natalbany Elementary School on N Morrison Blvd. Samples have been collected and tested by the Louisiana Department of Health Lab and has been determined that the water is safe for consumption.
